Reports on the existence of a bible reflecting the Swedenborgian canon endorsed by Blake and others at a 1789 meeting of the New Jerusalem Church. The bible, published in London 1809-1813, was an abridgement by George Hazard of an 1806 publication and was titled The word of god: being divine truth itself, proceeding from the lord's divine love. It would have been known by Blake and Flaxman.
