Explores issues raised by the international corporate sponsorship of art in recent years. Cites the views of four art world figures (Jack Lang, Jean-Christophe Ammann, Hans Ulrich Reck and Martin Disler), and presents examples of art sponsorship by eight corporations (Rosenthal, Ricola, IBM, Olivetti, et al.). An additional section (p. 244-282) presents the views of 21 persons or organizations (German artists, business people, a gallery owner, and others), largely in interview format, on the subject of corporate sponsorship of art.
