Discusses their business, the workshop, the dies and engravers, the designs and marketing of the medals, and the different types of medals and their patrons and purchasers. (Written in connection with the recent exhibition on the same subject at the Rijksmuseum Het Koninklijk Penningkabinet in Leiden.)
