Abstract (en)

Examines the influence of French author Alfred Jarry on Marcel Duchamp. Suggests that Jarry's spirit infuses most of Duchamp's work, citing numerous examples to support that claim, including direct correspondences between Jarry's writings and Duchamp's art works.
