Discusses Cubist-inspired architecture in Prague and environs, 1910-1925, noting that 27 of those Cubist houses and apartment buildings are still standing. Cites a number of Czech architects associated with this style including Josef Chochol, Josef Gočár, Pavel Janák and Vlastislav Hofman. Also describes Cubist-style furniture and household furnishings designed by these and other Czech architects. Notes recent exhibitions presenting a comprehensive survey of Czech Cubism at the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, and Prague Cubism at the Kunstverein Düsseldorf.
