Examination of dowel holes in three panels which are now in the Fitzwilliam Museum (Cambridge) confirms Gert Kreytenberg's 1988 thesis that the S. Agostino altarpiece (ca.1317-1326) was a pentaptych, and also allows for correct ordering of the elements in a reconstruction. The other two panels are in a private collection and the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum (Cologne).
