Abstract (en)

Assesses Gilbert Scott's 1868 Foreign and Commonwealth Office building (London) as a third and penultimate phase of restoration nears completion. Restorers have returned to Clayton and Bell's original scheme of decoration. Murals by Sigismond Goetze which were installed in 1921 have also been cleaned.
