Abstract (en)
Asserts that the culture of postwar Germany is still contaminated with an aesthetic formalism which had its origin in German fascism. Describes Germany's anti-modern national aestheticism, noting its roots in National Socialism. Cites in this regard Martin Heidegger's political discourse, which was transformed into an influential theory of art, and the latent elements of fascism in the work of Joseph Beuys.
