Reproduces in color 38 paintings from Finn's series of 108 paintings inspired by T.S. Eliot's poetic sequence, Four Quartets. Created over a span of 10 years, these paintings were conceived as visual counterparts to passages in the poem. Text consists of a preface by Stephen Spender, an introduction by the artist, and an afterword by John Walsh.
