Abstract (en)
Extension and revision of Rosenblum's earlier lectures and writings on Cubism as typography and Cubism as Pop. Examines the imagery of Cubist pictures and collages in relation to the environment of daily life in the modern city, including newspapers, advertising, and the like. Notes that the use of populist imagery in Cubist art anticipates the repertory of American Pop Art.
