Exhibition presents 58 of the 144 monotypes produced by Fischl in 1986, at the invitation of publisher Peter Blum. These works are the same as those reproduced in a facsimile, book-length publication, Scenes and Sequences, published by Blum in 1989. Catalogue includes essays by James Cuno, Richard S. Field, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Carol Zemel, and the prose-poem text which E.L. Doctorow wrote for the facsimile publication.
