On Bonafede's art and architectural patronage in his native Monte San Giusto, including the Palazzo Bonafede, here attributed to Antonio da Sangallo the younger, and Lorenzo Lotto's Crucifixion, painted for S. Maria in Telusiano, transformed by the bishop for use as his mausoleum.
