Studies evidence from documents, 1630-1667 (transcribed in the appendix) concerning the artist's residences in Florence, his workshop, his departure for Innsbruck (1 June 1660), and 159 paintings by him. Also transcribes a brief biography by F.M.N. Gaburri, 1730/1740.
