Describes three medieval hall houses: Suters (Headley), possibly purpose built as a church house after 1520; Chantry Street, 11-13 (Andover), post 1435; Red Lion (Chalton), 15th/16th c. Distribution, form and structural characteristics of Wealden types in Hampshire are considered and compared with those in other counties.
