An account of the factories established 1897-1904 in County Donegal by the Scottish textile manufacturer Alexander Morton of Darvel for the production of hand-tufted carpets; discusses the designs of the carpets, including those by Charles Voysey; and notes their success in Arts and Crafts movement exhibitions in the early 1900s and on the market until World War II.
