Discusses a 16th c. brass fragment of a kneeling woman, acquired in 1989 by the British Museum (London). Reports on Ann Dowden's recent identification of the piece as the brass of Elizabeth Blount (d.1551) which was formerly in the church at South Kyme, Lincs. Her mantle bears the Blount arms.
