Outlines activities ca.1801-1828 of the Card and Dice Office of Britain's general Stamp Office which was charged with collecting the proper duty on packs of cards. The Card and Dice Office oversaw the printing and stamping of wrappers and Aces of Spades, and the sealing of packs, both for domestic consumption and exportation.
