Discusses a ruined church in Viterbo, by Battista da Cortona and Ambrogio da Milano after Bramante's design (1509) for SS. Celso e Giuliano, Rome: a central plan with a Greek cross inscribed in a square, related to Bramante's project for the crossing of St. Peter's.
