Abstract (en)
Presents new evidence regarding the architecture of the chapel of the Beata Lucia (completed in 1714) in the cathedral of S. Giovenale in Narni. Clarifies Michetti's role as architect of the walls, windows, and dome, and identifies Carlo Rainaldi as the author of the altar surround, which was originally constructed 1654-ca.1656 in SS. Apostoli, Rome, purchased by Cardinal Sacripante in 1711, and erected in his chapel 1712-1714. Appendix with documents concerning the chapel (1727 inventory of the cardinal's estate) and the sale of materials from SS. Apostoli (1711).
