Tribute to Kuhrmann (d.1988) and Geissler (d.1990) on the occasion of commemorative exhibitions of recent acquisitions of graphic arts, held at their respective museums, the Staatliche Graphische Sammlung München (Dec 1990-Feb 1991) and the Graphische Sammlung of the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart (Feb-Apr 1991). Discusses their careers as art historians and curators, their philosophies of collecting in relation to the needs of their institutions, and some of their significant acquisitions.
