On a hexagonal gilded copper ciborium, ca.1340-50, with enamel decoration depicting scenes from the Passion around the foot and images of Christ, Mary, John the Baptist, the donor, saints, and prophets around the bowl (collection of the princes of Oettingen-Wallerstein). Determines that the ciboruim was commissioned for the monastery at Tennenbach by the abbot Johannes Zenlin, and suggests that the goldsmith may have been Joannes Hettenheim from Freiburg.
