Stylistic and iconographic study of the High Altar of S. Nikolaus, Orsoy, produced in Brussels ca.1500. The iconographic program is concerned primarily with the Passion of Christ and the life of S. Nicholas. Focusing on the carved Passion scenes, compares the altarpiece with other late 15th c. Brabant altarpieces in northern European churches. Discusses the attribution of the panel paintings, particularly in relation to Colijn de Coter and his school.
