Abstract (en)

Observes that an object that looks too much like an object in the real world leaves no room for symbolism, and in this light looks at images of death and the human body by John De Andrea, Robert Gober, and Paul Thek, comparing other 20th c. sculptures that do accommodate symbolism and meaning.
