Critical survey of the Art Now project funded by the William Penn Foundation in Philadelphia as a showcase for artists of the Philadelphia area; the project centered on the following exhibitions: Matter of Time at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (1988); Contemporary Philadelphia Artists, a juried exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (1990); and Artists Choose Artists at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania (1991). Includes a note by Csaszar on the aims of the foundation and the project, and on each of the exhibitions.
