Abstract
(en)
Investigates the ontology of architecture. Tries to situate the everyday praxis of the architect in a social context. Argues that culture is the structure of the social system. Asks what the meaning of the building is, how this meaning can be articulated, and to what extent the language of architecture is a language for the people. Considers the moral and aesthetic meaning of architectural language, and under what circumstances a building could regain what was lost with functionalism.
