Exhibition focusing on 15th c. court art in Ferrara and taking as a point of departure the recently cleaned Terpsichore attributed to Cosimo Tura (Milan, Museo Poldi Pezzoli), and its association, together with a group of other Ferrarese images of Muses, with the studio of Lionello d'Este at Belfiore. Works shown, divided into sections covering images of the d'Este family and other signori, the court, and the studio at Belfiore, included paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, medals, as well as tarot cards, majolica, tapestries designed by Cosimo Tura, and other decorative arts objects.
