Abstract (en)

Reconstructs the content of Pier Leone Ghezzi's collection of architectural drawings from an 1762 inventory of Ghezzi's estate (transcribed in an appendix), a bibliographic index of the family library, and a group of important drawings (about 450, chiefly by architects active in Rome from the late 16th c.-ca.1750) now in the Berlin Kunstbibliothek, here identified as once part of Ghezzi's vast collection of architectural and figural drawings.
