Presents Coe's Porkopolis series, prints and drawings (1987-1992) exposing the concealed workings of the meat production industry in the United States, including the inhumane treatment of animals. Catalogue essay analyzes these works, focusing on their relation to the tradition of political caricature and to Coe's role as an artist committed to the defense of the socially and politically oppressed in our culture.
