Detailed study of the architecture of the cathedral, Minden, begun under bishop Sigward ca.1130. Compares the building to others built in the diocese before and during Sigward's bishopric, in particular the bishop's funerary chapel at Idensen, and traces the cathedral's influence on churches in the same region later in the century.
