Abstract (en)

Introduction to the museum founded 1967 in a house built 1914-1917 by architect Charles Barton Keen. The collection is comprised of American art from the colonial era to the present, with particular strength in the century beginning ca.1840. Reynolda House has works in many media, but paintings dominate.
