Abstract (en)

Studies the sculptural decorations (12th c. with 15th c. additions and restorations) of two portals of the Romanesque church of S. Maria la Real in Piasca, noting that the iconography of the west portal is concerned with the Reconquest, while the program of the south portal reflects contemporary socio-economic changes.
