Study of the drawings of teste divine attributed to Michelangelo; examines their history and observes that the recent increased tendency to call them autograph has been accompanied by more data on their excellent provenances; focuses on the Furia (Florence, Uffizi, 601E), suggesting that it provided the basis for Rosso's Furia, engraved by Caraglio in 1524, and deducing that Michelangelo furnished the drawing to boost Rosso's fortunes in Rome in 1523.
