Abstract (en)
Presents three hitherto unpublished inventories of Bedford's material possessions, compiled between ca.1447-1449, against a detailed analysis of Bedford's goods and household in the context of Lancastrian England and Anglo-Burgundian France, and his role as collector and patron. Gives reasons for the long drawn-out process of the execution of his will. Examines especially the goldsmiths' work, textiles, clocks and manuscripts.
