Discusses a carved holy water font in the Museo civico, Canosa di Puglia. The piece is inscribed with a cross and the Greek letters "A" and "O." (The O is unusual - the letter normally used is omega.) Using comparative analysis, attributes it to an 11th c. workshop in Puglia, possibly in Bari.
