Abstract (en)

Attributes the frescoes in the palazzina (now part of Palazzo Colonna, Rome) to Pinturicchio, suggests that they predate 1494, and analyzes the iconography, focusing on the scenes derived from Valerius Maximus' Factorum et dictorum memorabilium libri. Notes that the patron, Cardinal Giuliano della Rovere (later Pope Julius II) owned a copy of this book.
