Abstract (en)

Describes the Chinese pavilion at the Potsdam palace complex, which was built after a design by Friedrich II in 1754-1757. Comments on the building's architecture and interior decoration, especially the exotic and whimsical mural paintings. The pavilion has recently been restored and was reopened in 1993.
