Discusses Allegory of Autumn, a glass underpainting in bister against a gold background, ca.1580, attributed to Jan Sadeler (private collection) after a drawing by Hans Bol. Notes that Bol's drawing is one of four depicting the Four Seasons in the Hermitage, Saint Petersburg. Speculates that Sadeler's glass panel was intended for a piece of furniture commissioned by Rudolf II in Prague.
