Discusses a group of six grisaille wall paintings on classical themes at the Mansion House, London. Five are by Edward Edwards 1774-1775; the sixth was painted by William Daniell 1822-1823. Explores the history of these paintings and the links between the artists, the City of London and George Dance the Younger, Clerk of the City's Works.
