On the picture gallery at Schloss Salzdahlum, built under the direction of Hermann Korb in 1701 for Anton Ulrich, Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel; and on the formation, care, and display of the collection of paintings housed there, especially under the supervision of Anton Friedrich Harms. This was the first independent picture gallery with limited public access in Germany.
