Abstract (en)

The theme of the 1991 MDA Annual Conference was "European museum documentation strategies and standards," although delegates represented a world-wide, rather than solely European, interest. National and international standards in data content, structure and value were presented and discussed. Standardization guidelines, funding (particularly from the EC), and future practical collaboration, were fundamental issues raised throughout the conference. Reports on lectures and seminars presented at the conference.
