On Montemezzano's fresco (transferred to canvas) Reception of Maria of Austria, Widow of Emperor Maximilian II, by the Ragazzoni Family in Sacile, ca.1581, installed on the staircase of the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, Dresden. The painting was bequeathed to the museum in 1916 by K.A. Lingner. Discusses the history of the Ragazzoni family and their palace in Sacile; the style and restoration of the Dresden painting; and Montemezzano as a portraitist.
