Abstract (en)

On the Hotel Elephant in Weimar, whose reconstruction was ordered by Hitler in 1938. Discusses the influence of National Socialist ideology on the hotel's decor, and compares it with the newly completed redecoration of the interior, using modernist furnishings and contemporary works of art.
