Discusses the exhibition of 18th c. scientific instruments (engineering, optical, astronomical, mathematical, mechanical, artistic) at the Casa Pellizzari, Castelfranco Veneto, held April 1990, in conjunction with the conference. The instruments, collected by Giovanni Poleni and Giovanni Alberto Colombo, are now in the Physics Museum, University of Padua.
