Transcribes and analyzes a recently discovered document (1370-1371) attesting to the foundation of the hospital of S. Salvatore dei Marinai, Pisa, in a building acquired from Tora and Neria Scacceri and Giovanni Lanfranchi. (The hospital ceased to exist as an independent organization in 1494).
