Abstract (en)

An account of the life and works of Anton Giuseppe Pagani and of his printing and publishing firm, which included the typographer Giovanni Battista Stecchi. Notes the firm's association with music, theater, and the literature of art, and provides detailed information about publishing, publishers, and booksellers in Florence under Pietro Leopoldo. Appendix with documents, 1774-1798, including Pagani's estate inventory (1798).
