Gives an account of the establishment of the Patrimonio ecclesiastico in Tuscany by Pietro Leopoldo in 1784 and of its responsibilities following the suppression of religious institutions in 1785, when all the property of the suppressed institutions was catalogued by officials of the government, and the inventories were deposited in the archive of the Regia Amministrazione. Analyzes documentary evidence regarding the fate of the confiscated objects; and publishes three inventories of property auctioned in Florence 1785-86: a list of 135 lots of paintings from S. Biagio; and inventories of paintings and furnishings of the Compagnia del Melani and the Compagnia di S. Paolo di Notte.
