Abstract
(en)
Catalogue for an exhibition of 278 objects made of materials salvaged from the urban environment 1967-1993. The title refers to both the actual creative process, the reclamation of cast-off materials and their transformation into art; and the artists' lives, the reclamation of their own identities and their personal transformation into successful working artists. Contains essays on each of the three artists, plus a general essay titled "Adhocism in the post-mainstream era: thoughts on recycling, redemption, and the reconfiguration of the current art world."
