Abstract
(en)
Examines Adorno's aesthetic positions on modernist and contemporary art in the years 1950-1967. Explains how his ideas continued to be influential even though to a certain extent he sidestepped the social, political, and economic contexts of modernism which came to dominate art historical discourse during the period.
