Biography of Muir who is best known for his facsimiles (1884-1890) of Blake's works in illuminated printing. In the course of his life, Muir was also a quarry manager, journalist, businessman, author, publisher and inventor. Includes transcriptions of five letters from Muir to collector Kerrison Preston 1916-1922.
