Describes the combination library, photographic archive, and general archive, the core of whose collections are the scholarly materials of Cornelis Hofstede de Groot, donated in 1926. Although the RKD's strength is in Dutch art, the archive contains resources on other European art as well. Includes a discussion of the RKD's computer databases and digital imaging projects.
